Chance To Shine

June 25, 2021

Chance to Shine is a charity organisation which runs cricket sessions, among other things, for children nationally. Chance to Shine cricket sessions run in state schools across Suffolk with the intention of helping children develop fundamental skills such as leadership and communication, all whilst having fun and enjoying themselves playing cricket.

Chance to Shine sessions aim to be:

  1. Inspiring
  2. Ambitious
  3. Inclusive
  4. Passionate
  5. Fun

Along with their school engagement programmes, Chance to Shine offers virtual cricket sessions for children currently locked down due to living in vulnerable households or other reasons. Similarly, Chance to Shine also offers street cricket sessions for those who live in urban areas without access to traditional cricket facilities like a club ground.

Chance to Shine aims to reach out to the widest possible range of people, with the sole focuses o

f inclusivity, enjoyment, and accessibility for all.

In Suffolk we aim to reach out to as many schools as possible through our involvement with Chance to Shine and are always looking to go into new schools in order to reach out to as many children as possible.
