The Cricket Collective Awards 2024 – NOMINATIONS NOW OPEN
June 6, 2024Suffolk Cricket is pleased to launch The Cricket Collective Awards 2024, which seek to reward and recognise volunteers across Suffolk who have made a difference to their club, league or community group.
This year we are uniting The Cricket Collective Awards to run alongside the ECB Coach Awards, helping streamline the the nomination process. There are 15 award categories with the deadline for nominations Friday 16th August.
- The county winners of each category will receive a Cricket Collective Awards 2024 winner certificate and 2 x free tickets for Essex v Surrey County Championship fixture.
- The county runners up of each category will receive a Cricket Collective Awards 2024 runner up certificate and 1 x free tickets for Essex v Surrey County Championship fixture.
- The county winner’s nominations will be sent to the ECB to be considered for the national Cricket Collective Awards 2024.
After the nominations deadline has passed, everyone who submitted a nomination will have the oprion to be entered into the prize draw for 2 x tickets for the Essex v Surrey County Championship fixture.

2024 Nominations Categories
- The Metro Bank Champion of Girls Cricket – A volunteer,coach or role model who has championed growing girls’ cricket at their club.
- Connecting Communities – A club or community organisation which has gone above and beyond to #raisethegame and support communities/groups
- Inspired to play – An individual or group within your club or community organisation going above and beyond to #raisethegame and open the game up to new audiences
- Rising Star Award – A young volunteer making a difference in the game – for 11-16-year-olds
- Game Changer – A young volunteer making a difference in the game – for 17-25 year olds
- Unsung hero – Those heroes who impact our game from behind-the-scenes and help us make cricket happen
- Growing the game – A league volunteer, committee member, or administrator going above and beyond to support clubs and help increase the number of games played
- Lifetime achiever – That one individual who has given many years of service to your club or community group and who you could not do without
- Cricket innovators – Someone who has brought new ideas and/or implemented new systems to improve your club or community group
- SafeHands Award – An individual that has gone above and beyond to create a positive and inclusive environment for young people to enjoy the game
- Tackling Climate Change – A club or community organisation that is addressing the threat climate change poses to cricket, by making sustainable changes to operations, adapting their facilities and/or engaging and educating their local community
- Volunteer Grounds Management Team of the Year – An opportunity to reward and recognise those volunteers who are working hard and improving the places where the game is played
- Coach of the Year
- Young Coach of the Year
- Outstanding Contribution – Services to Coaching – This person is the life and soul at your club, in your league, your county or at your school, coaching ands making a difference to players.
The information given in this form will be used by Suffolk Cricket to consider the award of a Cricket Collective Award to the person you are nominating on this form. If your nomination is also selected as an overall National Winner, the ECB will then contact the winner to explain how their personal information will be used.
