Girls Club Champion Programme

We at Suffolk Cricket want to improve access and opportunities in the game for women. Focusing support on girls U11 soft-ball sections at clubs will create opportunities for girls in Suffolk to play the game at a local club from a young age.

We plan to support a number of clubs launching girls teams to create more playing opportunities during the 2021 season. This will then support the development of female cricket at clubs for years to come as girls move through the age groups into the women’s game.

The programme will launch in March 2021 with Phase 1, Phase 2 will follow in 2022
