Congratulations to Kathy Parker who was awarded the British Empire Medal in the New Year’s Honours for services to the community in Woolpit during lockdown.

Kathy, who is our ACO County Scorers Officer and an integral part of Woolpit CC played a key part in ensuring that the 900 households in Woolpit were contacted to see if they needed any help. She was then part of the group of volunteers who got together to aid those households who did need assistance throughout the lockdown period.

A thoroughly deserved award, congratulations Kathy and thank you for all you do for cricket in Suffolk!
