JLS Catering become a Business Partner
February 28, 2023Jamie Lee Smith Catering have agreed to be a Business Partner of Suffolk Cricket for the next three years.
JLS were already an Associate Business Partner, but the new deal cements the business as an integral part of Suffolk Cricket.
The agreement will include JLS providing catering at some of Suffolk’s home matches as well as this season’s NCCA Showcase match versus Surrey at Woolpit CC.
JLS is run by Jamie Lee Smith, who has played cricket locally for many years, and is based at Venue 16 on Tuddenham Road on the outskirts of Ipswich.
The first Suffolk Cricket Awards Evening will be held at Venue 16 on Friday, March 24th.
JLS, which was formed in 1999, employs 40 full-time and part-time staff, who provide high-class careering services at venues throughout the East of England and London.
Jamie Lee Smith, who has supported Suffolk Cricket for the past decade, said: “Obviously I like cricket, but it’s so good to see the young guys get a chance at such a high level and also some of the really good local cricketers still have that opportunity.
“It’s great to be part of a local association who support local sport and give people a chance to perform at a high level which betters their skills and, who knows, one day one of these guys/ladies will make it to the big time?”
