Suffolk Young Cricketers Trials

We are pleased to announce the entry window for the 2023/2024 Suffolk Young Cricketers trials is now open.

Boys and Girls (in school year 7 and above from September 2023), can be nominated by parents/carers, clubs, and schools. Please communicate with all parties to duplicate nominations.

Please complete the registration form via the link below and send your batting, bowling and if applicable wicket keeping videos to Ben Wallis via WhatsApp – 07708 589105.

All applications MUST be supported with videos to be able to be considered for trials.

SUFFOLK YOUNG CRICKETERS TRIALS – NOMINATION FORM

The application window closes on 31st July, we plan to hold the trials towards the end of August / early September. The date, venue and times will be confirmed via email if your nomination is successful.

Guidance for submitting videos

Batting – Film from the umpires view (10 balls). The batters head, feet and where the ball pitches must be in the frame. EXAMPLE BATTING VIDEO

Bowling – 6 clips in total. First 3, film from behind the bowler including the run up. Second 3,  from chest side on at the crease. EXAMPLE BOWLING VIDEO

Wicket Keeping – Ensure that the head and feet are in the frame.
