Pete Shepperson, Nowton Cricket Club
Pete’s dedication, effort and passion has no end!
In his role of Head of Youth he has encouraged so many children to take part and give cricket ago. He plans, leads and umpires countless matches to offer match playing opportunities to all as well as organising further exciting opportunities such as Youth tours and masterclasses to inspire children to enjoy and continue with cricket. This is all on top of his superb coaching which has supported children to progress, build confidence and love playing the game!
Offering even more opportunities, he has supported the start of the club’s first Women’s team (being the coach, match organiser and all round motivator!) and has this year created and captained the club’s first Sunday 2s which is a mixed team including of youth, women and senior players.
You are probably wondering how he fits this all in! He truly is the cricket version of Superman!
Thank you Pete!
Charlie Martin, East Bergholt Cricket Club
The youth section would not be anything without the unbelievable organisation dedication Charlie puts into the club. Not only does she arrange everything, involved heavily in signing on, passage of information runs out information app and scores for various teams. Always there every Saturday mornings as a face of East Bergholt youth cricket and we would struggle with rules and scoring of games. A massive thank you to Charlie from everyone at East Bergholt Cricket club.
Thank you Charlie!
