Volunteer Opportunity – Lord Taverners Kit Recycling Scheme

May 22, 2024

Would you be interested in supporting a charity in helping more cricket be played across the world?

The Lord Taverners Kit Recycling programme have a National distribution centre in Ipswich, and are looking for volunteers to assist them with managing donations of cricket kit to both UK and overseas applicants, during the summer.

Ideally, they are looking to get a couple of volunteers a day to help pack or sort out clothing and equipment. This would include, stripping clothing from wrappers, folding/counting items for pre-packing and packing. Keeping accurate lists of what’s been sorted and packed.

This is potentially a great opportunity to work with a well respected cricket organisation. Although not exclusive it may well suit someone who’s finished their school exams, looking for a bit of work experience (and can add to their CVs), waiting to go to university, a retired person, or someone working part-time who’s able to provide some help.
