East Anglian Disability Cricket Day

To round off the summer season Thursday 29 August saw the Cricket Boards from Suffolk, Norfolk and Cambridgeshire join forces to run a day of cricket at Bury St Edmunds CC.  The day was supported by Allison from Special Olympics Suffolk and Liz from the Lord Taverners.  6 cricketers from Suffolk were joined by 6 cricketers from Norfolk and Cambridgeshire. Coaches from each County – James, Stuart and Abi worked together to run a fun morning of developing cricket skills and hand-eye co-ordination. The players, supporters and coaches then enjoyed a pizza lunch in the  pavilion before taking part in some match play in the afternoon. The weather was very kind to us and a great day was had by all!
