Women’s Softball for the Summer of 2025!
March 25, 2025Ladies Softball cricket continues to grow in Suffolk! This summer sees the introduction of a new format – The Hundred Softball League. 6 teams are taking part in the longer format – Copdock & OI CC, Felixstowe CC, Easton CC, Worlingworth CC, Old Newton CC & Kesgrave CC! We hope this really kicks off this year and we can encourage more ladie’s teams to enter the league next summer.
The Women’s Softball Festival Leagues continue this summer with 2 groups of 4 teams entering the competition. Each team are to host their own festival and to enjoy a day of cricket!
Group A – Copdock & OI CC, Melton CC, Kesgrave CC & Worlingworth CC
Group B – Bury St Edmunds CC, Old Newton CC, Tuddenham CC & Stowmarket CC
These festivals are a great opportunity for new players to take part in competitive and fu cricket and it is a chance for clubs to grow their numbers of female players.
