Women’s Softball Continues Throughout Winter

This winter has seen an increased number of women’s softball teams entering our Indoor Softball Festivals. Our first two events at Inspire in Ipswich have already taken place and we have seen a number of new teams take part in their first ever indoor competitions.

Our first event saw Woolpit CC come out on top as winners – unbeaten throughout the afternoon. Easton CC then mirrored this in the second Ipswich indoor event last weekend. Thank you to all clubs that have also taken part: Stowupland CC, Stowmarket CC, Kesgrave CC, Long Melford CC and those that have filled in for teams from Copdock & OI CC, Felixstowe & Corinthians CC & Melton CC. Thank you for supporting Women’s Softball Cricket in Suffolk!

There are a further 4 festivals scheduled to take place throughout December heading into the New Year. We are also bringing back the Indoor League since before COVID, where teams are scheduled to take part throughout 4 weekends in February and March.
