Suffolk to use three new grounds
December 17, 2025SUFFOLK Men’s 1st XI will stage matches at three new grounds in 2026.
Both Hadleigh CC (pictured above) and Mellis CC will host fixtures in Group 2 of the Dojo National Counties T20 competition.
Suffolk will entertain Lincolnshire at Hadleigh CC on Sunday, June 14 and then meet Hertfordshire at Mellis CC on Sunday, July 5.
Before then Ipswich CC will welcome Suffolk for a 1st XI fixture for the first time when they face Essex 2nd XI in a pre-season 50-over friendly.
Suffolk head coach Adam Mansfield said: “I’m really looking forward to taking our young and exciting Suffolk team to new grounds across the county.
“I know everyone involved will put in a big effort, and hopefully it’ll give young cricketers the chance to watch our 1st XI and feel inspired.”
Suffolk play back-to-back group games in the NCCA Trophy in early May. Suffolk will face Cheshire at Toft CC en route to meeting Cumbria at Furness CC in Barrow the following day to save the county making two separate trips north.
Sudbury CC and Mildenhall CC will be the venues for Suffolk’s two home matches in the 50-over competition, with the final taking place at Copdock & Old Ipswichian CC.
Suffolk’s two home matches in Eastern Division One the Cluberly NCCA Championship will be at Bury St Edmunds CC and Copdock & OI CC.
