Women’s Winter Festivals Wrapped Up for Winter

A successful winter of women’s softball events has come to an end with an increased number of teams taking part throughout the traditional ‘off season’.

14 different teams took part in our 6 indoor softball festivals from November through to February. From Inspire in Ipswich, to South Lee in Bury St Edmunds to Debenham and Beccles. There has been an increase in the number of women’s fixtures played throughout the colder months of the year, showing that we have an all year round offer for female cricket across Suffolk.

Alongside the festivals, we have seen the introduction of a new Softball League comprising of 4 teams, which completes on Sunday 1st March.
