Young Leaders in Cricket

We are pleased to announce that Suffolk Cricket will be running the Young Leaders in Cricket programme again in 2024. We will also be the first county to run an Intro version. This allows Young Leaders (aged 13 – 16yrs) to simply complete one module which they are really interested in (ie coaching, umpiring / scoring, grounds) rather than the full programme.

In addition Suffolk Cricket will offer a £25 refund on the full completion of either Full or Intro programme, as we’re keen to assist with costs and help clubs recruit the next generation of volunteers.

For information current modules confirmed (with more to follow) are as below:

Tuesday 9th April – 9.30am – 12.30pm, Young Cricket Officials Module – Copdock & OI CC

Tuesday 9th April -1pm – 4pm, Young Activator Module – Copdock & OI CC

Friday 31st May – 1pm – 4pm, Groundskeeping Module – Stowupland CC

On signing up you will be contacted by Young Leaders in Cricket to confirm which module you wish to attend depending on whether you have opted for FULL or INTRO
